Moldova vignette
In Moldova the vignette is needed on every main road from the border: the vinieta (e-Vinieta) for cars registered abroad. Routava checks whether your car has one and warns you before you cross.

If you are caught without one
Without a vignette, a fine of up to 9,000 MDL is possible. A first offence is fined 2,250 MDL to 6,000 MDL. Indicative: the top of the authority's official range, which is for repeat offences, checked 15 Oct 2026. Amounts and rules change.
